ACCA Achievement Awards 2008
The closing date for nominations is Friday 8 August 2008
10 May 2008
ACCA is delighted to launch this year's ACCA Achievement Awards. These global awards will be presented to individuals whose contributions deserve high-level recognition and whose efforts reflect ACCA's core values of opportunity, diversity, innovation, integrity and accountability.
And it is not just qualified accountants and finance professionals who have a part to play in developing the profession - nominees can be either an ACCA member or a non-member from any business, government, NGO or educational institution. It is the individual's contribution to developing the profession which is important.
Individuals nominated for an award will be judged on how their actions have made a significant contribution to any one, or a combination, of the following criteria:
- developing the global accountancy and finance profession
- developing the profession within their country or business community
- demonstrating extraordinary leadership through a lifetime of achievement in accounting and finance
- developing ACCA nationally, regionally or globally.
