Nominations are now being accepted for the ACCA Achievement Awards 2007.
Nominations are now being accepted for the ACCA Achievement Awards 2007. Now in their second year, these global awards are presented to individuals whose contributions deserve high-level recognition and whose efforts reflect ACCA's core values of accountability, diversity, innovation, integrity and opportunity.
Who can you nominate?
It's not just qualified accounting and finance professionals who have a part to play in developing the profession – nominees can be both ACCA members and non-members from any business, local or national government, NGO or educational institution. It is the individual's contribution to developing the profession that is important. For example, nominees may be:
- a government or NGO representative who has been active in developing the profession in their country
- an ACCA member who has championed the cause of integrity, accountability and professional ethics in the accounting and finance community
- a member of another professional body who has been active in building the profession in their country, region or internationally
- an education provider who has worked to remove the barriers to education by pioneering access to quality accounting and finance tuition programmes.
To reflect ACCA's position as the world's largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body, achievement award winners will be selected each year from the following regions: Africa and the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas .
